Body Odour quiet strong since becoming vegan?

I have just decided to switch from a try to avoid dairy and meats 80% of the time to now 100% vegan…. But I have noticed in the last 2 weeks that I have been doing this my body odour has gotten strong smelling.. (i never had a problem before) and am now having to carry a roll-on in my handbag to apply throughout the day?? Why would this have happened?? Is my body de-toxing or something?

Are other people telling you that you have B.O.? I’d be willing to bet that the ‘problem’ isn’t with your odor but instead is with your nose clearing out!

I know I always think I stink after doing things like mowing the grass but folks around me say I don’t stink. I’ve even had women tell me they like my cologne<LOL>!!

On the other hand I can always tell who isn’t a veg by their smell!

It might be. I would wait another week and if it is still going on go see your Doctor right away. It could be that some thing is not right inside your body. It wont be for the change of diet. That was the best thing you did for your health.

Your skin is the largest elimination organ and you are surely eliminating toxins. Your body is saying, thank goodness it now has the opportunity to get clean.

I suggest you take a few steam baths if you can, to help your body to its job of eliminating. Other things you can do to assist, is get a colonic or just do a few enemas (coffee enemas help the liver detox). And drink lots of pure water.

Good luck to you, and congratulations on changing your diet to a more healthy one. You’ll benefit greatly in the long run.

I’m not a vegan but a month ago I became a vegetarian and the same thing happened to me.I shower twice daily and I had to do it like four times per day.

At first I didnt link it but when I did I was confused.Someone already gave you the correct answer.Your body is responding to your healthier diet and releasing all the toxins you had stored up through your skin since it is our largest and external organ.

Mines lasted for about a week and a few days.I hope yours go soon.

Dont worry about it but if it persists you should see a doctor or something.

Try using Secret Clinical Strength. This is really good and it keeps the scent at bay.If you cant get the cilinical try any of the Secret platinum[the vanilla smells real good]

Hope I helped and have a great day.Smile:)

Now Im not what you would call a religious guy, but in the Bible, I’ve read in the Old Testament, that you are supposed to soak in "pure" water after a fast.
    How do you purify water?
    SALT!

As another person above said, the epidermis is the largest organ in the body that releases toxins and toxins do not smell good.
That’s what happens when you fast and that’s what happens when you go vegitarian or vegan.
You are un-clogging intestines, arteries, PORES.
Allowing the natural flow of life to return to your body.

Back to what I was saying earlier though,
a salt water bath will make you feel cleaner than you ever felt in your life.
Not regualar salt though, MINERAL (Epsom) salt.
Two – three cups in a bath as hot as you can stand, be fully submerged.Of course after lay back leaving only the nostril holes and mouth above the awter (head back)
Drink no alcohol during this and keep a large bottle (partially frozen, but not iced) of water near the tub.
Pour it over you occasionally when the heat gets too much and make sure to drink from it as well.

I follow this with a cold shower (no hot water).
If you try it like this, MAKE SURE YOU BRACE OR SUPPORT yourself from falling because the initial shock can make you a bit tipsy!
Though, I bet you have never feel so good in your own skin afterwards.

The bath opens up the pores to free them of clogged toxins as well and the cold water not only closes them again, but tightens them up as well.
    You fell like a god(ess)!
    And smell like one too!

Hope this is of help to you.
