How to stop armpit odor?

I have really bad armpit odor… Just a few hours ago i took a bath and used a lot of anti-bacterial soap, 10 minutes later i used 2 kinds of 24hour antiperspirant & deodorant and used a lot… 2 hours later … *sniff* *sniff* at my armpits and the smell is still there and it’s more powerful than the deodorant’s xD so yeah… i’m the godzilla of armpit stench…lolz but seriously… is there anything i can do?

If you use anti-bacterial soap and 2 different antiperspirants/deodorants, especially if they are scented, you may have a yeast infection. Anti-bacterial soaps kill both the good bacteria and bad bacteria, causing a yeast infection to flourish, especially in a warm, moist area such as your armpits. That could very well be the cause of the odor.

Wal-Mart sells a generic anti-fungal cream under the brand name of Equate. You could also use anything that is marketed for jock itch or athletes foot.

Also, use cornstarch instead of powder. There’s no perfumes or dyes to irritate the skin. It will absorb excess moisture. You can find it in the baking section of the grocery store. It is safe and all natural.

Yeast infections are a common nuisance, especially now that the weather is getting warmer. Antibiotics are also known to cause them. You may want to limit your intake of sweets and any foods containing yeast, such as bread, doughnuts, and beer. Also, I take acidophilus pills to help keep the yeast at bay. They can be found in the vitamin section of the store.

some people have a stronger body odor than others. Hairy guys seem to have a mustier odor than less hairy men. I suppose you could shower more than once a day and use deoterant. My personal favorite is degree.

use only a neutral grease fighting soap. ie. dawn dish soap. also remove some or all your under arm hair, once in awhile. typical bathroom soaps have to many ingredients within them, some maybe interacting with your body chemistry. May even want to lay off the deodorants, too much chemistry there, also.

then there’s the straight use of vinegar, usually cuts odor, well. rinse with a saline solution.

Some people have a stronger odor…Try keeping your armpit hair short (trim not shave) and use an antiperspirant (not just deodorant). If this doesn’t help than see a dermatologist who can prescribe a clinical strength antiperspirant/deodorant. Good luck!

Hi – try using a natural deodorant such as PitRok’s push up deodorant: http://www.pitrok.co.uk/push.html

It works by inhibiting bacterial growth, so you still sweat but bacteria can’t grow which is what causes the smell.

one ,solution if u have hairs in your armpit, trim them off.
then apply the deo’s and try moving your hands so that you could avoid sweating ,b’coz sweating is the only reason for armpit odour.
